I grew up surrounded by music, but I wouldn't say choral music (or composing) was my first love. Mostly, I spent hours playing classical, hymn, and popular arrangements on the piano. It was only until my last year of undergrad that I began meddling with arranging my own piano pieces. That morphed into attempting a choral composition (almost by accident), and I found myself in love with writing music and the process of creation. My goal is to create rich and artful music that touches the soul and brings hope to the listener.
