April Schneider is a violinist and composer from Kentucky. From a young age, she has been drawn to artistic beauty, cultivating a deep appreciation for both painting and music. Through one-on-one vocal coaching with Lyle Stutzman, she became inspired to delve into the world of choral singing and composition. She began learning composition through various books and online courses and eventually studied counterpoint with Wendell Glick. April aspires to write music of lasting quality—works that glorify the Lord and serve as a timeless source of refreshment and encouragement to His people. She delights in poring over sheet music, playing duets with her husband, and savoring dark chocolate. While she recognizes that not everyone of her compositions may be a masterpiece, she desires that each would reflect a piece of the Master.
