Brendon M. Sensenig grew up as a farm boy in south central Illinois and is now a school teacher, teaching grades 6 & 7. He was raised listening to and singing quality music. A Bible school teacher encouraged him to try his hand at composing. This interaction is what fully kickstarted his passion for music composition. His heart contains a special slot for quality hymn music, though choral writing is also much enjoyed. Studies have included music theory, 2-voice counterpoint with Wendell Glick, and currently as time allows, self-study in the book “The Complete Musician” by Steven G. Laitz. He continues to work with Wendell Glick as his go-to mentor.
