Evan Bender has always loved to sing, and has more recently developed an interest in chorale conducting. He developed an interest in chorale music and composition while at Bible School. He has picked up scraps of music theory from various sources, and is particularly indebted to "Music Student 101", a music theory podcast, and to "The Great Courses" many lectures on music theory and history. He is particularly passionate about creating music that is interesting to sing while still being accessible to the average listener, much of his work being written for his church youth choir.
